This really was a beautiful morning. I enjoyed an early morning walk and a beautiful dawn.
The day started with a lovely LOBOT trade, followed by my discretionary pullback trade and then an AWESOME SEED Signal that made 4%.
Then I stepped away only to come back later. Had a quick look and found out that market had completed a 1-5 wave down.
It then created a strong wave 3 up. So I thought, hmmm, could we get a setup 1 here? And we did.
Ganesh was a bit confused about this trade. So he asked, "Immy, I thought we were not supposed to trade when M5 gator was sleeping". This then is the answer to that lovely question. This is how I trade and teach my team mates. :)

How I made $228 in 9 Minutes without any Effort
LEARN The Powerful Pattern PC CHERRY [ We have Indicators for this ]
Yesterday, in a series of 2 videos I talked about Principle C, and how powerful it is. It is an abc pullback pattern that we have found years ago.
AIMS Members know about it because we have a PC eBook. It's a simple pattern that integrates tightly into the main AIMS The Setup Pattern.
This morning, while trading THE DAX on the M1, at the LONDON OPEN I saw this pattern develop. YES! it works even on the M1 time frame. from Monthlies all the way down to the 10 seconds charts. It WORKS....
So here is the entry on DAX M1 Cherry Signal. But this is what I saw before the signal.
The Process of Identifying PC Cherry Signal
"This is a Typical HUNT PC Cherry...
1. Price shoots up at LO,
2. then price pulls back just enough to form a box,
3. then it violates the box low but continues up just like I explained in the video yesterday,
4. now it forms a PC (abc pullback) and there we have
5. the CHERRY signal tied to it.
Great concept. MUST LEARN PC CHERRIES.... they are POWERFUL."
AIMS The Cherry PC Pattern Signal and Entry
Below Picture of price hitting the 2R target. Thats $227.38 BANKED in 9 Minutes without any Effort.

There is a Setup but I Don't want to take it
Trading is an art based on a science. Yes, this is a quite difficult concept to grasp, for most, I assume.
While a trading edge must be scientifically verified. It must be a strategy that is quantifiable. Something that is not merely a product of a trader's personal interpretation only. It must be based on solid rules and guidelines that anyone else can verify.
But as time passes and you begin to understand yourself and the market, you create your own trading style. Depending on the path you chose and the experiences you had traders fall into two categories. Discretionary traders or otherwise.
Successful trading is more of an art than science. That is certainly true for a vast majority of traders. Any edge that can be put down as an algorithm, don't need a trader.
The following chart shows Setup 1 long on the cross of EUR/NZD.
Its suggesting that there is a possibility that price might break above the box to the up side. there is a 33% chance that it might drop back to below the box low, a 33% chance that it might go up at least the same length as the box and another 33% chance that it might go double that distance. That's Setup 1 Trading Edge. 2:1 Reward to Risk with 66% win rate (including BE trades)
Yet I don't want to take this setup. Because I don't like the odds that the D1 chart shows me. Why? The D1 chart is showing a Down Trend but it also show that it could be ending and reversing to upside. I might be wrong, I'll soon find out. This is TRADING.
Below we see GBP/NZD creating a Setup 2 long signal.
Below we have GBP/NZD H4 Chart, A nice Cherry Signal Long
Finally we have below The D1 Chart. This is Clearly not going up, its going sideways and its boxed. I don't fancy such charts.

There is a setup on EUR/NZD H1 chart.
I don't want to take it for reasons I have allowed myself to use when I want to. So it's something that is my trade plan, yet I have the freedom to choose. I'm the #realDonaldTrump of my trading plan. However, I truly am in control or my trading. lol

Below we have D1 Chart of EUR/NZD, as you can see, its going down. So its Not very high probability for me to take the Long on H1.

| EUR/NZD D1 Trending down. But notice that sharp strong bull candle. That could be A up, followed by the zig zag B down and we could now see a C up. (The C up would be 5 up on H1) |

Smooth Equity Curve - How to maintain it
Do you want consistent smooth rising equity curve?
If YES, then you need to learn to use Risk Management technique. It should be in line with your trading strategy and trading edge in the market. The First step towards a consistently growing and smoother equity curve is to Define your Drawdown threshold.
The Higher the drawdown threshold the more bumpy and jerky your equity curve will be. To keep it smoother you should a lower max draw down limit.
Lets use an analogy of a car driving along a bumpy road like in the picture below. The car is travelling on bumpy road, it is by no means smooth and can never be smooth. Trading will always sustain losses. Every bump is a trading loss.
Consistently Winning Trading is a result of using a strategy that has an edge in the market. It's a strategy that gives you a higher probability of winning over a set of trades over a longer period of time.
The successful application of the winning method determines what is the direction of the proverbial car journey, losing trades are the bumps in the road, risk per trade is highs/depth of the bump, the amount of pressure on the gas pedal i.e. the speed of the car will determine how bumpy the ride is going to be. The bigger your risk per trade the more impact the bump/ditch will have on the quality of your ride. If you take too strong bumps along the road, too many times, it might shorten the health of your car.
An Acceptable Drawdown Limit - What is it?
Most prop firms and professional traders would not want to go anything below 3-5%. But depending on their strategy a figure as big as 10% would still be acceptable but as said before, the higher the number the more "bumpy" it will be. 5% is a GOOD figure. It keeps the curve very smooth. So, e.g. if a method has 50% win rate there is an 80% chance of 5 consecutive losing trades. There is a 50% chance of losing 6 trades consecutively. That means, within 50 trades there is a 50% chance that you might lose 6% of your account @1% risk per trade. I don't know how many times can this happen within one batch of 50 trades.
Now, assume you want 5% max drawdown. This would mean there are quite high chances that your strategy might hit this "trip" wire within each batch of 50 trades.
AIMS Stress Free Trading The Setup 1 method is a strategy that gives you 65%% win rate (33% losers, 33% BE) that means the chances of 5 losing streak is lower than 40%. So that means 5% draw down limit with 1% risk per trade would suit this method.
What happens if I hit my Drawdown Limit?
After the above you then have to assess, how many trades does your method generate per week. And then decide what would be your chances of blowing your max drawdown fuse? if you take 50 Trades a month, there is a reasonable chances that you might blow the fuse once or twice a month. Is that ok or do you want to avoid it? best be to avoid it.How many trades do you expect for your method depends on how many markets you watch and trade and what time frame. 8 FX Pairs on an hourly chart can produce half of that per month. so 5% drawdown at 1% per trade is not bad if you trade 20-25 times a month. (assuming there are no DS0 trades). This will keep your equity curve smooth and rising steadily upwards.

Higher Win Rate Method - Rinse and Repeat
The thing is, it's the same thing, same method, same strategy, working over and over and over again.
There is nothing that needs changing. Why?
Because it WORKS...
So, this Sunday morning, I'll just spam you with some screenshots I shared in our AIMS Live Trading Room (Slack Server). Its like taking selfies of yourselves everyday. haha
I think you can look at these pictures and be the judge yourselves. It's the "same" thing, similar looking charts compared to the posts made on this blog as early as 2011.
