1000 Ways to Skin a Cat - [More Profits - Same Setups]

The Way to make profit is to find a pattern that gives you statistical edge, its easy to find, and its tradeable.

The pattern of Find a wave 3 and 4, to catch wave 5, i.e. Setup 1 is one that gives you Higher ODDS of success.

Now you have options to apply risk and trade management  techniques to manipulate results. e.g. in this example of Setup 1 on DAX h1.

You could have taken Entry using the Standard Box entry with SL above the box and Entry Below The Box. You will then double that distance between SL and Entry and that would be your 2X (or 2R) Target Point or Take Profit Point.

But also, you could have done this.

Took entry below the box, Had 50 SL, that was somewhere between the box. and set a 100 points SL. That meant I got 2R profit, and it was hit , in time and points, far before the example above.

There are a number of ways in which you can benefit from a pattern that repeats often enough and gives a higher chance of happening. In other words, as long as you know your edge, you can benefit from it by utilising several different trade and risk management techniques. T

The 3 Month Challenge

I'm just copying one of my posts in our forum. Thought I'll share this in public.

The Three Month Challenge 

We are going through a three month challenge in our Skype Room.
This exercise involves sticking to our system for this period of time and keeping a record so that we can monitor our performance.

The Goal of The 3 month challenge is to achieve at least 90% discipline. We are NOT interested in how much money we make or lose. We are not interested in how many pips/points we make or lose. Our main objective is DS18/20. And we ought not do more than 1 T20 per week. so we are looking into 12 T20's.

Trading is like any other business. You need to know how to run a business. If you want to run a successful trading business. This is your 3 months Course to work on your skills of running that business. The prime skill we are working on is Discipline.

We use the mechanism of T20 to measure the achievement of our objective.

Before you think of leaving the system/challenge, I want you to understand the above. Some of us may have left the challenge or others may not even started it, because they lost focus or misunderstood the objective of this exercise.

It will be harder to remain disciplined and keep trading "error free" with a system that generates more signals than the system that generates lesser number of signals. AIMS The HUNT is a highly successful trading system with 66% win rate. But it generates less number signals per week. This is a good thing for our purposes.

Tools that will help achieve this goal.

1. Journal Writing. Keep a detailed Journal about every trade you take. Make use of the PEERCED analysis.

2. Record your trades in your journal utilising the T20 principle. Evaluate the result of every trade from three dimensions. a. was the entry setup correct b. was the trade managed correctly and c. did you follow correct risk and money management rules.

3. Join a group of traders who are doing the same thing. A group working towards a common goal makes life easier and people find easier to remain in control and disciplined. Trading is a lonely game, being surrounded by like minded people really helps.

4. Create a myfxbook account and share it with your group so that your performance can be criticised. The next time you take a trade, you will be aware that you will look like a fool when others find out you broke your rules.

25 Percent Account Growth this Morning

I just wanted to share that we have further our already successful and powerful trading strategy.

A huge thanks goes to Steve of www.for-exe.com and Grant (The Awesome Gman) for working on this strategy.

I can confirm that we traded one signal this morning that brought 10% growth on risking only 1%.  The London Open Trade. 

Later in the morning session we traded again using Adam's Apple Signal and Seeds and some Cherries (Cherries are our brand new entry technique available to Skype members only).

This ended up with a gain of another 15%. This time it was a few trades all based on just 1% risk per trade.

So basically, a 25% growth achieved as a result of 6 trades. That's just above 4% growth  per trade with a risk of only 1%.

800 Pips in first month of live trading

AIMS Tradres have been doubling their accounts within 3 months. Earlier this month, right at the start of this Fantastic New Year 2015 we had the pleasure to share the great news from Silas from Germany who managed to double his account within 3 months of trading. That was after Sam from Australia had shared the great news of doubling his account earlier last year and then later we shared how Michael Zlabinger from Austria  successfully managed to double his account in three months.

"Hello everybody,
Since I've been using the "I Trade AIMS Stress Free Trading"system since October 2013 and my trading has enhanced a lot in that time. I've come to the decision to drop a review about AIMS system here. It's funny because I've stumbled over AIMS right here in the FPA-review section. 

I was trying to trade for 2011 and as most beginners, I jumped from one strategy and system to another on the quest of the holy grail of trading. I learned many things, joined a "Price Action" program but didn't get my feet on the ground. Then, in October 2013 everything has changed as I purchased a lifetime AIMS premium membership for a very, very reasonable price. It's less than you have to pay for most 1 or 2 days trading seminars and it's worth 10, 20, 100 times of them.
