There is a playlist on the iTradeAIMS Youtube channel called Day Trading the DAX | London Report

I have recently discovered a NEW way, a brand new way of trading the DAX30. It has produced some fantastic daily results for me.

I made a series of videos to share this method with AIMS Members.

How to Trade The DAX M1 - London Session

First Step: Premarket Prep

The H1 chart and its role:

Before I start taking trades on the M1 chart. I need to know what is the market doing as a whole. For that I would look at the D1 chart, have a quick wave analysis. But then drop to hourly chart. That's where analysis begins.

What is the Trend on the Hourly Chart. Is it going up or down. Is it Wave 3 or 5? is it boxed tightly. The hourly chart may not trend on a daily basis. At times its in its respective 4th wave or it has no direction or trend. but at times, its slowly and clearly going towards an "identifiable" measured objective. i.e A TZ1 or a D1 Box high or Low.

DAX30 H1 Chart - Purple box indicate the boxed marked going sideways

e.g. DAX H1 has been trending up during the last 2 days.  But before we look at the last 2 days we have to talk about the 28th of march. That was the sideeways day. Gator was sleeping on h1. and purple was inside the box... totally sideways box.

The 29th of march brought some movement. and after the weekend, it started with a new month new orders new flare for life...

Although it went up and it continues to go up today, it did go through its "dead" period during the london open session. The market WAVE analysis is a powerful way to "understand" the structure and what is the structure of the structure of the structure ?

Now, WE know that eWave is one subjective yet at times quite measurable even objective structure of the market. The WAVE.

That structure has an underlying structure called the Fractal., the BOX, AIMS Box Indicator is the structure of the structure.

but the structure under all this is "ORDERS"
buy and sell orders. and volume of those orders.

When there are more/larger volume of BUY orders, the price starts to rise (in case of na index its the underlying stocks that moves because people are investing in those markets or divesting out of t hose markets).

so on the H1 chart, when we see the market is Trending up, i.e. Gator open to up side, the slope of the lines is up, 3 lines detached from each other, AO is creating a peak, histogram is green above ZL and box is stepping upwards. this means,

  1. the buy orders are exceeding the sell order and there is more demand in the market.
  2. this also means that the path of least resistance is up for this moment in time.
  3. and it means that on the lower time frames, there will be "bigger" up moves compared to down moves.

The London Session Today

The market opened with a spike up but that was soon killed by the sellers and market went back to where it broke from. Later the following happened.
the M5 chart complete noise

So right now as I see the market, 3 hrs after the London Open, the Gator on M5 is open, price clearly going up. ONLY THEN do I trade this market in UP direction We were keen on trading the dax today but nothing was setting up. Soon the market boxed itself.

but I want this to happen within my 3 hrs of trading. from LO to 11am uk.
if it does not happen within that period, its fine. i'm ok with that. I'll come back next day. and that is it. e.g. it happened within my trading time yesterday. The following picture shows where we trade the dax on m1. The Gator on M5 is Open, and M1 kept giving us buy signals. H1 was trending up (As a result of this)

Study this chart if you want to understand Fractal Geometry of the Markets

  • I want to know if market is Trending up or down on h1.
  • I want to know if market is trending up or down on m5.
  • I want to know if there is a setup in that direction on m1.
  • and i want that within the First 15 min , then the first hr, then the first 2 hrs of the london session.
IF it starts to move, I will continue to trade it until i assess that nothing more is left in this market. or I've hit my loss or profit targets .

Do I look for  100% Clarity?

10 years of trading , to date , I have not found absolute clarity if I should take this trade or not, nor have I found absolute confidence about whether it's going this way or that. But do know this,

THINK in terms of 20 TRADES. that's all I know.
Embrace Uncertainty but Quantify It
I don't know the result of this next trade, but I have a good idea of what might happen at the end of the next 20 Trades. [THIS IS A MILLION DOLLAR TRADING SECRET]

Don't think why Steve or Sam is long or short. Think, where is my setup, and whether I should take it or not. its all about YOU.

IS THIS A SETUP? that's my question.

How to Filter Bad Signals [DAX Report 27 March 2019]

Sometimes a signal appears to be just another good setup but if you look closely its not really a high probability signal.

One such Setup 1 signal happened this morning on Dax m1. I had gone to gym and completed my workout. I did after I had completed the following trades.

Let's first talk about the London Session trades.

It was not best of the setup this morning after the London Open. But it did show some momentum.

The box was big and the setup 1, arguably did not exist. But the Open's are traded slightly differently.  We can play in the direction of momentum.

This is the first Point of entry. Pending order was setup a minute after the red dot. Instantly broke out and

The trade was soon turned from Breakout into a Breakeven. Stop loss moved to Entry. And once I had 5 red candles trailed candles using ATM thanks to @snorm

Finally the Exit. Trailing stop loss was hit with a profit of 9 points.

There were 2 more trades after this but lets just talk about The Setup that was not The Setup.

So below you see a good looking setup 1. But is it a setup 1?

All the information is on the Pictures.

This picture shows what would appear like a nice Setup 1 to the beginner eye. But is it?

AIMS M5/M1 method allows us to take only the Highest Probability Setups.

Take Profits on Friday - Swing Trading

I trade the EU GU UJ and Gold on the Hourly Time Frame.

That is my bit of Swing trading.

DAX was supposedly going into a Wave 5 but ...
I'm busy trading the DAX on the M1 chart but from time to time, I check these H1 charts. H1 chart does not really need checking every hour. You check them the night before and in the morning pre London Open. Usually if it's going to set-up for something, You will see it before London Open.

I usually only go for trend breakouts (THE SETUP1 and APPLE Method) for FX charts. I like the Hourly Time Frame for FX (currencies.)

Below is an Example of an #AIMS Apple Initial Entry following by BOX Breakout Add on. on #EURUSD

Clearly a Downtrend. A lovely Apple within a Sideways Wave 4.

Took first Apple and added below box.

Mistake: should have exited on fruit high before end of the week since it was Friday. It was my intention but literally forgot. I remember going "oops" while sitting with wife in the bedroom past 10 pm uk on Friday.

I said, "I might have left the EU trades running". But I had the SL set at the Entry level of the box breakout add on which was hit on Monday.

Mistakes like these could some times cost some money.

On this occasion I lost profit but luckily no huge gaps over the weekend

The Market is Generous

The Indices are going wild. There is high volatility and we, the AIMSters love volatility.

Dow Jones Index is really going wild with 800 points up and down days.

Meanwhile our favourite DAX30 tries to mimic the BIG Dow giving us plenty of setups.

Below, is a picture of AIMS The Fruit method.

The Market is Generous but are YOU available?

Sam got his share during london open hours, Jozef waited and traded the breakout during trending markets. I got in even later than that and ended up with 2 scalps and then reversal of the uptrend.

The Fractal Geometry of AIMS Fruit Method - 70 Points Profits

The market was not as volatile as we like but looking at the hourly time frame we saw that the wave might want to pull back a big. ABC was visible with a possibility of C down turning into a possible nice 1-5 wave formation on the m5 chart.
So we caught the possible 3 down within the possible C down.

I shared this analysis in the #AIMS Live Trading Room

There was an apple signal at the peak of Wave 2 but it was not clear to me. So I waited for box breakout.

AIMS The Fruit method Box Breakout entry plus Add on positions to load it up and increase profitability
I saw it break below the lows and since i was loaded up I decided to trail the bars using #SnormsATM

As shown in the picture when you click on the t-candle button ATM automatically trails the last candle high/low.

I saw that it broke the lows and it was giving me good profits. I noticed that it might be time for it to pull back a bit. Since positions were fully loaded it was good time to bank some profits. Closed two positions and let the initial running.

Always a great idea to bank some profits methodically

Soon the trail bar was hit and I decided to exit all positions. I had been waiting for this to play out all morning so I was a bit tired. Turns out it was a good decision anyway.

It was a good trade. The following image shows that our exit was spot on and later it provided another opportunity to catch the 5 down of the C down.

Good 2nd Attempt for W5 Hits TZ1. Next if you were keen on this, and looked at m1, you'd have caught the peak of abc that is W4 up.

Finally a little tip for how AIMS The Purple Line could help with Fractal Geometric Trading Opportunities.

How to Spot Apple of M1 using Purple on M5.
