New MT4 Update Build 600 BEWARE!!!
If you have been haunted by this new update no need to worry.
The new MT4 Build 600 keeps the indicators and EA files in a different location. So you'll need to copy and paste them from your current mt4 to the new place. This article by DailyFx.com explains very nicely how to remedy this problem. Thanks Jason Rogers.

The new MT4 Build 600 keeps the indicators and EA files in a different location. So you'll need to copy and paste them from your current mt4 to the new place. This article by DailyFx.com explains very nicely how to remedy this problem. Thanks Jason Rogers.
Where can I find my EAs, indicators, etc. on MT4 Build 600?
The latest version of FXCM MetaTrader 4 now saves your expert advisors, indicators, profiles, etc. in a different location on your computer. If you do not see your EAs and indicators in the navigator folder, your MT4 files are most likely still saved in the old folder location and are not recognized by the new version build of MT4.
Please follow the instructions below to move your files to the correct directory on build 600 of MT4.
1. First, find where you have your MT4 files saved currently. Below are the file types and location where these files may be currently saved on your computer. You may also want to check your desktop or downloads folders to see if you have copies of these files saved there.
2. Open MT4 > click on File > Open data folder > then double click the MQL4 folder. This will show you where your experts, indicators, etc. should be saved on your computer. Unless you have UAC settings disabled the folder location will be C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\[32 character long MT4 ID]\MQL4
3. Copy the files from the old location to the new location. For your EA's, for example, you will copy the contents of the C:\Program Files (x86)\FXCM MetaTrader 4\experts folder to C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\[32 character long MT4 ID]\MQL4\Experts
How to Recompile EAs and Indicators on MT4 Build 600
MetaEditor has changed in MT4 build 600 and as a result some expert advisors and indicators may have to be recompiled. Please follow the steps below to recompile your experts and indicators.
1. Open MT4 > go to File > Open data folder > double click on the MQL4 folder
2. Double click on the name of the expert advisor or indicator to open the file in MetaEditor.
3. If there are any errors when compiling the expert or indicator you will see those appear at the bottom of MetaEditor. You will need to address these errors before you are able to add the expert or indicator onto an MT4 chart.
Backing up files on MT4 Build 600
Please follow the instructions below to save backups for your MT4 files (expert advisors, indicators, libraries, templates, and profiles). It's often a good idea to save a backup before uninstalling/reinstalling MT4, transferring files to another installation of MT4, etc.
1. Create a new folder where you would like for your backup files to be saved. To create a new folder right click > go to New > click on Folder.
2. Navigate to where your where your MT4 files are saved on your computer. Depending on the build of MT4 you are using they could be saved in a couple of different locations.a. Build 509 and older: C:\Program Files (x86)\FXCM MetaTrader 4\experts
b. Build 600: Open MT4 > go to File > Open data folder > then double click on the MQL4 folder. Depending on your settings this may go to either folder location below.i. C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\[32 character long MT4 ID]\MQL4\Experts
ii. C:\Program Files (x86)\FXCM MetaTrader 4\MQL4
3. Copy the folders you would like to save and paste them into the new MT4 backup folder.
Insufficient Permission to Uninstall MT4
If you receive an error message when you are trying to uninstall MT4 stating you do not have sufficient privileges you will need to edit a value in your computer's registry.
1. Press Start then type in "regedit" and press enter. This will bring up your computer's registry.
2. Press ctrl + F and type in "EnableLUA". (You can also find this by going through the menu tree on the left. You would need to go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software > Microsoft > Windows > CurrentVersion > Policies > System)
3. Double click on EnableLUA in the right side of the registry editor window.
4. Change the value data from 1 to 0 and press OK.
5. Close the registry editor window and restart your computer. After you have restarted your computer, you will be able to uninstall MT4 though the task manager.
6. Repeat Steps 1 to 4 above only this time change the value data back from 0 to 1 and press OK.
7. Close the registry editor window and restart your computer. After you have restarted your computer, UAC will be enabled on your computer as it was previously.

The Best of All Trading Places is a Trending Market
The Best of All Trading Places is a Trending Market
It should be the easiest place to trade in a trending market but most people find it very difficult to follow a trend.
Definition of Trending Market
1. It stays out of the AIMS Gator's mouth.
2. Its pullbacks are less than its thrusts
3. It will contain more green candles in an up trend and more red candles in a down trend.
Why the Purple Line:
We want to trade in the direction of the higher time frame but we also want to trade when the higher time frame turns around. So on our current time frame we keep our trades at least above the Red Line of the 5x higher time frame. For that we have the Purple plotted on our current time frame. (more on this in the eBook)
Trading in a Trend
What Trades to Take in a Trending Market
Only those in the direction of the trend.
1. With the Elliott Wave
We use eWave (1 second Elliott Wave Indicator) or AIMS Wave (10 Seconds Elliott Wave Indicator)
2. Without the Elliott Wave
It is not neccessary to trade with Elliott Wave, since Elliott Wave is made of Impulse and Corrective waves. When Price is going away from AIMS Gator and its mouth is open its an impulse wave. When price starts coming back to AIMS Gator's mouth that is a corrective wave. So Trade away from AIMS Gator's mouth and in most cases you'll end up trading either Wave 1, 3 or 5. (all impulse waves.) Impulse waves are the ones that move the market or rather when the market really change price in a sequence it is called an impulse wave.
Problems of a Trending Market
1. How to handle the Pullbacks (Grants Favourite)
2. Must make an executive decision of whether or not you are committed to this trend.
Strong Longs or Strong Shorts: If you are committed to the trend, and you have confidence in your position you have more staying power.
Weak Longs and Weak Shorts: If you don't have the ability to be committed to the trend don't have confidence in your position, you have less staying power.
Important Question:
Where to put your Stops in a Trend?
> The Confident Well Financed Trader: Where you put your stops depends upon whether you are strong or weak long/short. If you have confidence in your position, you have all the grounded assessments for staying in the trend, then it would be foolish not to follow the trend. Remember the Holy Grail is "Want What the Market Wants"
> The Scared, Unsure, Afraid Trader (we all get there one time or another): The most valuable commodity you will ever deal with in your life is your perspective.
You want to watch your perspective closer than any other market or any other commodity in the world. If you find yourself in unsure afraid place you may want to just exit the market ,get out and come back when you're feeling better.

Questions from Peter
Hi Imran
"Well, today I traded the AIMS techniques for the first time. Had 2 trades, and 2 winners. It was very easy. I only traded in the direction of the 5 minute chart, using the 1 minute. Excellent.
Question 1.
I am still a little confused. Setup 1 is where you would take trades off the saddle point, and where you bracket the AIMS high/low. You use the 1 minute chart, with no regard to where the 5 minute is, right?"
Answer: It depends on the trend on M5. E.g. if M5 just came out of a Saddle Point Setup 1 itself and you either exited earlier you did not trade yet. M5 will retrace at some point. At that point you will use M1 to make an entry using either Setup 1 or 2. You could just take an AIMS Level in the direction of Alligator on m5 but by doing so on m1 you get earlier entry and your risk is minimised. Think about it, M5 required 25pips SL, where as M1 Setup 1 or 2 require 15pip max SL and in the past 8 months my 15pip SL has been hit only 3 times. FACT.
Ok, when you see that M5 has peaked and now its time for it to come back to ZL you ask yourself do you want to trade into possible 4th wave of M5 by using setup on m1? If No you stay away until m5 is ready again.
Then, later you see M5 is ready u take a setup on m1. You might take long or short using Setup 1 but since M5 has only peaked once and NOT yet diverged you will biased towards that trend direction but you wont take chances and hence bracket saddle point. Because you never know whether M5 will do tis 5th wave or not. So we Do Not Care Which Way the Market Moves. We want to be in it when it DOES!
Question 2.
Setup 2 is a trade taken on the 1 minute chart but in the direction of the established trend on the 1 minute (ie the alligator is open) and you would enter on a break of the AIMS level. After re-reading your material, which setup considers the 5 minute trend? I'm still confused because after looking at chart examples, I'm still missing this.
I know you mentioned in an earlier response that if I decide to trade only in the direction of the 5 minute chart, then that's good. But what setup takes this into consideration? Sorry for these questions.
Answer: as I said in above it all depends on your understanding of the trend on m5. A guideline is to not take a setup on m1 as long as price on m5 is on the correct side of at least Red Line.
So you need to know how far has it trended. Which stage of trend is it in etc. Roughly if it has trend only 40-50 pips then chances are that its not yet done. but at the same time if its not moving too much in one direction then there are chances that it does not want to trend in that direction at all. Once again you are in an unpredictable situation. The fact of the matter is you never know. This is Forex Trading for you Peter. although its is also true that if you make a ground rule that you will not take a setup against m5 you wont regret it. I have friends who respect purple line or alligator direction on m5 more then anything. Forex Trading requires a system that works and a person that can follow the system.
Question 3.
My last question is this...when trading setup 2, the AO is most likely further away from the 0 line than it would be for setup 1, which makes sense. Is it ok to take trades for setup 2 if the AO is not close to the 0 line (but not excessively far away either). Once the trend establishes itself, it would take a decent pullback to bring the AO close to 0.
Answer: Setup 2 also requires AO close to ZL. it is true that it might be that bars might be a bit bigger but then it all depends on that day and your feel for the market. If price is moving nicely on m5 u just want entry and if trend is not confirmed yet we remain very conservative.
The notion of "in the direction of m5 (higher time frame" is a guideline. Its not a solid ground rule. the Ground rule is to trade the setup. If you trade a setup against a trend that it is fine but if you trade just like that against a trend even if it makes money on that occasion in reality what you've done is that you dug a big hole for future profits. It is all about following something that gives you a statistical edge. our job is to hit trends right from where they originate and not worry about other time frames too much. Hence we use the M5 as a guideline trend. But how do you know when a trend is over?
The Concept is that we use m1 to get into a trend before its evident its changed on m5. You'd use m1 AO to see 1-5 pattern and then take Setup 1 in Either direction. By doing so it gives an advantage. it lets us trade against the trend on m5 but in line with TREND ON M1. I would not recommend this technique to beginners or people who are new to this style of trading.
I display m5 for 2 purposes. well in reality its one but its two fold.
1. AIMS Levels of M5. I want to know whether price is inside aims on m5 or not. If price is inside aims and I see a setup on m1 I would check how far is the relevant m5 aims level from the entry. If its close lets see 1-5 pips I'd rather wait for m5 break otherwise I'd stay out entries unless there are more than 10pips distance. There is an exception though. Which is
2. If Alligator is clearly open and trend is still strong I'd use a setup on m1 to get into an m5 trend regardless of where AIMS Levels are on m5 as compared to my entry on m1. Because if trend is strong I just want entry. but if M5 was sideways and we are trying to get into a possible trend then we stay conservative. Or if you knew how and are experienced enough, we trade m1 on its own and do some quick scalping here adn there before it starts trending properly. (not recommended at beginner level)
Purple Line (Beta Stage): It should serve as an easy mechanism to quickly identify trend direction on 5x time frame. At certain point the purple line might stop you from an otherwise perfect setup. But that's OK because it does this less often than it does to stop you from trading into a fourth wave. (Peter Mentioned Black Dog system which I previously used to trade). It has only one strong thing, if you trade only when LTMACD is crossing ZL with lines open, but not that its coming after it has peaked on the other side, it would always stop you from trading into the 4th wave. But then since its a very slow MACD, it also stops you from getting into the 5th wave, because 4th wave makes the LTMACD lines cross over and they dont get ready for the 5th wave. If understood properly the MTF2 is a class system. MTF3 is just extra burden. MTF3 with its 3X MACD = LTMACD is slower system. Forex is fast and you require responsive systems. Sleeping alligator takes the whole lag things away. anyway, not talking BD here. LOL
Word of Caution: coming from BD background or other systems (especially the ones heavy on moving averages) could mean you have to unlearn alot of things before you fully let yourself take advantage of this "Freedom Setup". Unlike others this system is Freedom. You can literally trade it without the help of M5. IN fact if you traded it with 1 or maximum 3 pairs on m5 you wont need to have a look at m15 or m30. Just trade the setup. We call it "Trade the Shit out of it" because "A Setup is a Setup is a Setup"
Setup 2 is a mechanism to get into a proven trend. If tend is not proven you are risking otherwise as long as AO has not peaked and lost moments any fractal is valid. e.g. if a setup started off a Setup 1. then see how far you are from Setup 1 when you're ready for Setup 2. My logic is this, I only trade Setup 1 and add on on Setup 2. So if I miss Setup 1 in MOST cases I wont take setup 2 on its own. usually by the time Setup 2 comes I'm already in profit.
We are very conservative forex traders when the market is not trending, and very aggressive forex traders when its trending.
Please Note: Purple is part of AIMSigator V.1. Its still Beta.

Can I trade the setup without AIMS AO and AIMS Levels?
Philip:
Please advise what are the problems, I have if I do not use all your indicators - your AIMS level and special AIMS AO.
The other two just alert systems.
Imran:
I think the best of all the indicators is AIMS Levels. I trust AIMS Levels more than I trust the other two. It does not lag it does not change.
The Market is highly organised. (Science of Chaos). It has a Structure, that structure is Elliott Wave but trading Elliott Wave requires a higher organised structure of program. Which linear mathematical models can never generate. Our world is designed by linear geometry. E.g. how man made buildings collapse in earth quakes but trees don’t? Because trees are in line with the Fractal Geometric nature of the universe blah blah ... I could carry on.
(Edit: AIMS Levels is the Structure of the Structure of the Market. It is the Stucture of the Elliott Wave. It is our “non-linear Geometric” way of trading the markets. It is highly organised.
So AIMS Levels is something that shows me not only the correct entry point, the correct exit point, the correct point for money management, the correct level for risk management, the accurate spot for trailing stop loss but also it shows me Trend direction in an instance. It creates so many different patterns that if I talk about people will think I'm making it up. Of them one is Principle C.
So AIMS Level is a must. Then comes the 4 coloured AO.I won’t go into too much detail but one of the best feature of AIMS AO is its 4 colours. The colour code helps to count waves within 10 seconds. You can identify where wave 4 is in just one look. When AO shows Green Peak that is Wave 3 or Impulse wave, Red bars after Green peak = 4th Wave followed by Green peak again with divergence becomes Wave 5. Simple. You don't need to learn Elliott Wave. Just this much knowledge is enough that the entire trading world agrees that market moves in waves.
I find the four colour tone much much better than 2 colours.
Edit: AIMS Entry Indicator is not Just an indicator. Its is based on tried and test mechanism. It all began with an alert that used to put a dot on the screen close to Crossover of Zero Line of AIMS AO. Then later that concept developed into AIMS AO V3. Then AIMS AO V3 was put to the background and instead represented as Dots on the screen. Each dot represent the crossover of AIMS AO V3. I cannot go into further detail. But its a solid indicator. I trust it and I dont trade without it.

Erik Asks a series of Questions!!! I reply with thanks...
Erik: "hello and thx for this great exemple..."
Me: thank you, my Pleasure Erik!
I have few questions regarding Entry Set up:
1)Would you not use Wiseman1 and WM2 as its a contretrend technique and it means that entry point is far away from red line and ZL? Am I correct?
Me: We dont use counter trend techniques. My understanding is that the first step is to understand that the market is structured. It has a structure. that structure is the EW, then EW has a structure that is AIMS. So our job first of all is to trade "With the Trend" following the structure of the market. In doing so we would be able to "change" our under-lying structure and hopefully be "in-tune" with the market. This effectively will help us achieve the Holy Grail, that is "Want what the market wants".
Once we have mastered this, we could look into trading reversals. So No we dont use WM techniques for now.
2) Do you use any technique for new entries while you are in long bearing (bullish) trend in order to pyramid?.
Me: We only add on using AIMS levels. But for beginners we dont recommend that. We have to prove (not to anyone else but yourself alone) that we satisfy the requirements of being a Beginner then an Advanced Beginner trader. Which means to be able to stay through entire sequence of 1-5 on any time frame of your choice. once we hit that, and keep doing it consistently we could perhaps look into "Trance-Ending" experience and somehow jump into the next "trance/level". The competent trader. Since trading is 90% mental and the mind has alot of "issues" that we have to deal with, it would be counter productive to subject our minds to 2,3 or more pressures before it is properly trained to deal with one issue, ie. how to stay in during the entire sequence of 1-5. This could be staying through Wave 3 of chosen time frame using 1-5 on certain lower time frame or staying through 1-5 on your chosen time frame without going a step up or down. I hope it makes sense.
For exemple in EU/US today with 400pips, would you just have only one entry at the break of AIMS level?
Me: we would have added on every fractal.
3) AIMS level, the limits are fractals but no matter where they have been set up including Inside the alligator?
Me: sorry I didn't quite get that.
Thank you very much for your help
Erik
and some more....
Me: its ok Erik keep em coming. In fact I love questions. Reason being, we are energy beings. and energy is only useful when its focused. Questions bring attention and focus to stuff that I some how forget to bring in to the concious mind. These questions help me bring them back in to life. So thank you and please ask more more more and some more ...
P.S.: 4)for entry setup you would look at the alligator sleeping while in BW New Trading strategies, it is said that this is ranging market and we should stay out the market…Is it in order to pick up an early wave 3 or 5?
Me: Again, I'd say many people are under the impression that the 3rd book meant markets have now so changed that trend trading does not apply. In fact in their most recent interview with one of leading magazine they comprehensively said something like this, oh yes we certainly are trend traders but we "also" have a very good reversal techniques. So, they are "firstly" Trend Traders with a very effective strategy for Reversals as well. They say the adopted the reversals because markets have changed and now we see more reversals as compared to in the past. Yes, when alligator is sleeping you stay out of the market. But what you do is you bracket the outer most fractals. The longer the alligator sleeps the hungrier he's going to be. We dont want to miss that action do we?
So Yes, that is to catch (Grounded) the next impulse wave perhaps a possible 1-3 or 5th , a or c wave. (ungrounded)
5)I see that you trade very low TF (M1 or M5) do you look at higher TF first and then zoom until the lower TF in order to count waves as it said in BW trading chaos ed1?
Me: We trade M5/M1 combination as introduced in EUR/USD Strategy above. We can use the same strategy for any time frame combination such as H4/H1 , H1/M15, etc. (this answers another question by another good person from somewhere).
During trading M5 and M1 we dont always have the luxury in our time-space reality to check whether 1 is 1 or not by going down to count waves. I have a remedy for this. When AO is clsoe to ZL you will find your 1-2 in that area, with or without seeing it.
Sorry for all these questions and thanks again
Me: I thank you my friend.
P.S. how i can login in your blog?
Me: I have no idea tbh, Haha!
A Quick Attempt While Answering your Questions.
