US Session DAX Report 11 Jan 2018

I had a very long conversation with Michal in the Skype group. This member has been with us for ages. Still trying to get to that point in trading. But today we made a lot of progress. Man my fingers are hurting from typing for hours in a trot.

The Afternoon saw a breakout to the downside. The H1 chart was showing potential for shorts. The general consensus from that point of view was shorts. And when that is true, it does not mean you won't have long trades/setups on the M1 but that experience tells us that when HTF is trending in a certain direction, the moves on the shorter time frame will always be strong and powerful in that direction. So we traded only Sell side because that's where we got the signals. 

Below you will see a Setup that I entered slightly late.

Notice that there is a Monarch Seed short signal as well. Michal took that and got 2R. Well done Michal.

Candle Trail Begins . I decided to trail candles seeing that it went down quick but missed Take profit level.

Stopped out on Candle Trail for 1R profit.

Note: it takes a lot more time and effort recording and publishing the trading activity than trading itself. But its worth it.

This is the trade that made 2.5R profit nicely and quickly. 

Everyone thought it was over. But I say, when market is moving "be aggressive" when its going sideways and not moving be very passive.

Setup 1 Strong Breakout ... It was New York Session and market was moving, what do you expect? 

Strong move down... we always say, "the one that goes, it goes" 

Exit and and Result: 2.5R profit .. Positive slippage in our favour. ~thanks market. And my awesome brokers 

Result: DS 1 2.5R Profit Total DS 9/10. 

Well done to Jozef and Michal for great trades today. 

London Session DAX Report 11 Jan 2018

So today Dax started slow at London Open.

But it did create a setup ... I missed it for some reason. It was a nice Monarch Cherry ..

It spiked down and hit 2R Target near TZ1... pretty simple stuff.


Anyway so back to DAX30.

Batch 4 - Trade 7

I then took this Setup 1. Well i say setup 1 but it was actually a Setup 2 and i should have waited for a fresh box.

Entry was too early.

New Box Low was formed so put a PO for Add on. Lets MILK it.

Below: The M5 Chart showed some divergence. Oh well I thought this might bite me in the back side later. and it did.

And So it was a Rent

All that matters is that I follow my trade plan. But because I did not see the correct Setup 1 here, i will mark myself DS0. DS Total now is 6/7

And Then at NEO a breakout entry. really should not be showing this but can't hide it since I have taken it. It might look like it broke some entry rules but for me its a trade that I took on M5 and managed on m1.

4R Profit - DAX M1 London Session 12 Dec 2017

Ok, so there is snow everywhere in England and schools are off. I took the day off yesterday and it seems DAX took the day off as well. So that was great. Its horrible feeling when you take a day off and market goes nuts that day.

London Open started with a nice 3 down during FO. It was Setup 1 at LO.

I did not take the initial entry but I should have. Soon after I took AIMS The Hunt - Cherry Sell signal .

That and the Next Seed was taken together ... both ended as what we call BE.

Above Cherry was exited a bit earlier than I should have but went back in using Seed Signal.

Above Seed signal , SL moved to BE by ATM Auto.

so that was that but I was keen on the short moves. I knew something was happening.

I have been in this game for long now. I have developed a certain feel for the market. I was in the skype group chatting with Jozef [We have a special group AIMS Skype Live Trading Group - Join Today]

I felt that a move was coming. Here is a screenshot from Skype Group hehe

So it did happen and it hit 2R profits for both entries.

And so Trade 3 and 4 both hit 2R profits. Now that will be anything between 4% to 12% profit depending on your Risk Per Trade. a1%-3% per trade is good.

Trade 5:
Setup 1 short . Exit Break Even.

This trade was followed by a great discussion between AIMSter Jozef and Merry on skype and we all learned how to Filter signals based on the AIMS concept of Fractal Geometric Trading 

And I think that should be enough for the day. All was over within 30 min of trade.

So today we saw some plays on #eur/usd # usd/jpy and #usd/chf. We also saw some plays on Gold, GBP/CAD and GBP/JPY but won't talk about those for now.

Below is my trade on USD/JPY. I took it on the hourly time frame looking for the Wave 5 up. As aimster you are taught that we are all interested in the 5th. We always work our way towards TZ1. 80% of 5th's do end up touching or going past TZ1.

"so on UJ i took a 20 pips SL on the first trade and closed out at -1R. but went back in , this time at the close of the bar  mentioned above with a 15 pips sl and grabbed another 30 pips that's 2R. Meanwhile went with 15 SL on EU and grabbed 25, exited slightly earlier than TP."
